Now it may be that i’m now feeling a tiny bit of remorse for my last post but thought i’d put a bit of positive energy back out into the world by spreading this breathtakingly beautiful piece of music and trying to do my bit to get it out to the wider audience it so deserves. Assuming you’ve now opened your eyes again, take a deep breath and think about just how lovely a place the world is again.

The track is released on 7″ on October 17th and is by a lovely young Canadian lady called Kathleen Edwards who’s been quietly making her music since way back in 2003, releasing three albums since. However thanks to the midas touch of Justin Vernon AKA Bon Iver, (who features on backing vocals and his haunting production duties and who in my eyes can do no wrong) if there’s any justice this new track will propel her into being talked about in the same breath as some of her better known folksy contempories such as Laura Marling, Joanna Newsom et al.

So go go go people spread the word and share this bit of loveliness everywhere. It’ll make you feel like you’re a good person I promise… it worked for me after all.
